A CONFERENCE TO INSPIRE AND CONNECT LIKEMINDED L.A. PASTORS & CHURCH LEADERS FOR GREATER CHURCH HEALTH.
Though the Bible teaches that local churches are the display of the gospel you are burdened to see only a few healthy churches in LA which are largely disconnected. The one-day Shepherd LA Conference exists to inspire and connect likeminded LA pastors so that more healthy churches are shepherded, supported, and strengthened for LA.
SEPTEMBER 15, 2018 | 9:00AM-5:00PM
SCHEDULE: Saturday 9/15/18
3:10-3:45pm Session 6: Chris Lewis: A Healthy Church has a Plurality of Elders
Why come if there are no “big name” speakers?
- Because the biggest name, Jesus Christ, will be present in his Word faithfully preached.
- Because what matters more than the preacher who is preaching is the message preached. The Bible will be exposited and faithfully preached. (Though we are thankful for those God has raised up as faithful preachers with wide influence).
- Because the preachers are all Angelenos living in the same region trying to be faithful pastors here in L. A. like everyone else we’re hoping comes to the conference.
